That's your opinion Here's Mine

2 Across

2 Across is playing at St. Luke’s Theatre. It’s located at 308 West 46th Street. The play runs one hour and twenty five minutes with no intermission. It is an open ended run.

Andrea McArdle was 14 when she starred in Annie. She is the youngest performer to be nominated for a Tony Award as Best Lead Actress (1977).

Janet (Andrea McArdle) and Josh (Kip Gilman) are traveling on the “Bart” in San Francisco, to the last stop. It is 4 a.m. and no one else is in that car with them. Both are doing the New York Times crossword puzzle.

Janet is a psychologist and is good at crossword puzzles. She has just left her son. He has dropped out of high school and has joined the Marines. Janet could not talk him out of it.

Josh is terrible at doing crossword puzzles. He keeps asking Janet for help. Josh is on his way for a job interview.

As the ride goes on they find more about each other.

What happens, you will have to see the show to find out. It is slow in the beginning but picks up momentum and becomes a very enjoyable play.

A bonus, Andrea McArdle sings “It Could Been You” with Rip Gilman. Andrea has such a beautiful voice. Wow what a treat!
