That's your opinion Here's Mine

Daniel's Husband

Daniel’s Husband is playing at the Cherry Lane Theatre located at 38 Commerce St in New York City. It runs ninety minutes with no intermission. The play closes on April 29, 2016.

Anna Holbrook won a Day Time Emmy for Another World in 1996.

Lou Liberatore was nominated for a Tony Award and a Drama Desk Award in 1987 for Burn This.

Daniel Bixby (Ryan Spahn) and his partner Mitchell Howard (Matthew Montelongo) have friends over there home. Mitchell’s written several books. His agent Barry Dylon (Lou Liberatore) and his boyfriend Trip (Leland Wheeler) are the guests. Daniel is an architect and Trip is a home care attendant.

Daniel and Mitchell have been together for seven years. Daniel wants to get married but Mitchell doesn’t. He tells him we are gay who wants all the fuse.

When Daniel’s mother Lydia (Anna Hollard) visits things are cordial. But you can see Daniel isn’t happy to have here there. After she leaves Mitchells new book is published. Barry breaks up with the much younger Trip.

Things go terribly wrong of which I am not telling as not to spoil the play for you. I will say is to have a tissue with you.

This is a tender, emotional love story especially at the end. It is worth seeing.

The cast does a stellar job.

Brian Prather set is well done.
