Dracula : Bloodlines

The play is at the Onomatopoeia Theatre Company located 24 Bond Street. It runs ninety minutes with no intermission. The show closes on September 8, 2013.

The playwright, Thomas R. Gordon introduces the play. He gives a prologue about Dracula. This gives us some background information on the count.

Morris Harker (Brian Henderson) is a real estate agent. One of his clients is Xavier Balaur/Count Dracula (Martin Meccouri).

It seems Morris‘s family were vampire/demon hunters. His grandfather killed the count. Dracula is out for revenge and to get his life back.

The best scenes were between Decima Parcae (Sara Hymes) and Morta Parcae (Mallory Campbell). Both are Dracula’s vampire brides. They play games with their victims. Playing riddles and hypnotizing the people the meet.

The best part was in the beginning and at the end, which did not come soon enough.

All I can say is don’t look at any one directly and cover your neck at all cost.

If you want to see the count, rent a movie.
