Queen Iduna (Ann Sanders) and King Agnan (James Brown lll) put their children to bed. Young Anna (Mattea Conforti) and her young sister Elsa (Alya Schwartz) jump out of bed when their parents leave the room. Elsa builds a snow man for her sister, Olaf. She makes snow around the room. Elsa touches her sister when she’s in bed. When her parents come to check on them, Anna is almost dead. The Queens summons Pabbie (Timothy Hughes). He is able to revive her. Elsa has powers now she has no control over. The girls are kept apart, never seeing each other until their parents are lost at sea. Elsa wears gloves.
Elsa is old enough to be crowned Queen. At the coronation Anna (Patti Murin) meets Hans (John Riddle). She thinks she is in love with him. He is the thirteen child of a king. Also at the event is Weselton (Robert Creighton) a count who flirts with Elsa.
All hell breaks loose after Elsa is crowned. She takes off her gloves despite the consequences. Everything she points to freezes. She runs away.
Kristoff (Jelani Alladin) helps Anna look for her sister. He sells ice.
Things happen when she finds her sister and not for the best.
This is an awesome show for both children and adults to enjoy.
The costume and scenic design done by Christopher Oram was brilliant.
Robert Creighton, Jelani Alladin and John Riddle, were amazing.
But the BEST was Andrew Pirozzi who we never see, he is Kristoff reindeer Sven. He is amazing. The costume he wears makes it seem he is a reindeer. I was told he wears stilts on his legs and hands. A buzzer in his hand makes the eyes move. What an incredible job!
The show must be seen as close to the center as possible otherwise you miss a lot of what is going on.
