When they are in Vegas Tommy Korman (Tony Danza) and his side kick Johnny Sandwich (Matthew Salivar) spot Betsy. Tommy is mesmerized; she looks just like his deceased wife. They are con artists, cheating people at card games.

When Betsy looks for a wedding dress Jack goes to a card game that Tommy invited him to. Jack thinks he has a winning hand so he borrows $58,000.00 from Tommy. Of course he loses and has no way to pay him back. Tommy tells him the only way he will forget about the debt is to let him spend the weekend with Betsey. No Hanky Panky. Thinking they would speed the weekend in Vegas he agrees. However Tommy tells Betsy he has a place in Hawaii and wants to spend the weekend there. Jack can’t get a flight to Hawaii. When he finally arrives Tommy and Betsy are on their way back to Vegas. Poor Jack can’t find a direct flight to Vegas. He finds a way back with a group of Elvis impersonators. When they get to Vegas they sky dive into town including Jack.

What happens in between and at the end of the show you will have to go see it.

The show is good. The music is so so. They could have left it out. The music tells the story but there are no outstanding songs.

The Orchestra is wonderful and in a few scenes they take up the whole stage. They sound like the big bands from the 1940’s. The opening number the drummer sounds like Gene Krupa.

Rob McClure stole the show. He was fantastic, both acting and singing.

David Josefsberg does a great job as an Elvis impersonator and lounge singer.

Despite the songs Honeymoon in Vegas is a nice show to see.
