That's your opinion Here's Mine

King Charles III

King Charles III is playing at the Music Box located at 239 West 45th Street. It runs two hours thirty minutes with one intermission. The play opened on October 10, 2015 and closes January 31, 2016.

The play premiered at the Almeida Theatre, London in April 2014. It transferred to West End’s Wyndham’s Theatre in November 2014 to January 2015. The show won the Olivier Award for Best New Play in 2015.

Margot Leicester was nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Actress in 1995 for Broken Glass.

Queen Elizabeth has died and Charles (Tim Pigott Smith) will become King. Camilla (Margot Leicester) is by his side.

Charles has own ideas on how the government should run. He refuses to sign a bill in Parliament that will censor the press. The Prime Minster, Mr. Evans (Adam James) tries to get him to sign it. The opposition Mr. Stevens (Anthony Calf) gives him ideas what he should do but says he’ll deny that he gave him the information. His press secretary James Reiss (Miles Richardson) tries to help.

William (Oliver Chris) and Kate (Lydia Wilson) have their own ideas.

Harry (Richard Goulding) meets a commander Tess (Tafline Steen). He falls in love with her and wants to be a commander too!

Different things happen which I’m not telling you. Go see this excellent show. I’m sure if you are British you will have a better understanding of the government and what is going on. But who hasn’t heard of Charles, William, Harry and Kate.

Did I mention Diana’s ghost (Sally Scott) appears to Charles and William telling them that they will be the best King England has ever had.

Tim Pigott Smith does a splendid job as Charles.
