The ILLUSIONISTS

The ILLUSIONISTS is playing at the Neil Simon Theatre located at 250 West 52nd Street. The show runs two hours with one intermission. It closes on January 3, 2016.

The Trickster (Jeff Hobson) is the Master of Ceremony. He is the show man and does tricks.

There are six other Illusionists and six magicians some working with the illusionists.

The Unusualist (Raymond Crowe) does shadow puppets.

The Deceptionist (James More) does an act where he is put on top of a thin metal pipe on his back.

The Daredevil ( Jonathan Goodwin) does and act with a straight jacket, upside down and on fire.

The Anti-Conjuror (Dan Sperr) does a trick with razors.

The Futurist (Adam Trent) does a trick with an audience cell phone.

The Manipulator (Yu Ho-Jin) does card tricks.

Each do several acts, the ones mentioned are just a few.

Members of the audience are taken on stage to help.

Cameras follow each performer and what they are doing is captured on a big screen on stage.

There are other people that help out and some dance.

This is not your typical Broadway show. It is more like a show you would see in Los Vegas.

If you are looking for something different to see, this is the show. It’s worth seeing.

There is great detail in what they do. It will make you wonder how they did each trick. One of the performers said outside the stage you’ll never figure it out!
