That's your opinion Here's Mine

Wiesenthal is playing at the Acorn Theatre, located at 410 West 42nd Street. The play runs ninety minutes with no intermission. It closes on February 22, 2015.

Simon Wiesenthal was born in Austria-Hungary (now in Ukraine) on December 31, 1908. He died on September 20, 2005 at the age 96. Nicknamed the “Jewish James Bond”, he brought more than 1,100 Nazi war criminals to justice.

Tom Dugan is the playwright and actor playing Simon. He won the 2011 Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for Wiesenthal.

The place is the Jewish Documentation Center in Vienna, Austria, April 2003.

Simone is retiring. This is his last day at work. He promises his wife that he is only going to pack, no guests. However he can’t resist having a crowd to talk to (audience).

Among the things he discusses is his life during Hitler’s reign, what they did and tracking Nazi criminals. Simon goes back and forth on his stories.

Simon is still tracking down Nazi criminals. He can’t resist even though he is closing his office for good in a few hours.

This is an intriguing, make you think show. It is a wonderful story of a man who spent his life tracking Nazi criminals. Making people pay for the horrible crimes they committed in the name of Hitler/Nazi’s.

Tom Dugan does an outstanding job portraying a man who is 95 years. His mannerism and walk are so convincing.

This is a must see show. Doing a one man show for ninety minutes must be challenging, but Tom makes it seem easy.

The audience is invited to stay for Q and A after the show. Tom comes out and takes questions from the audience. The show is like going to school, you learn a lot and enjoy it too!
